One of the world’s most beloved musical divas Patti LaBelle has been giving it her all since her career began 40 years ago, when she led the Bluebells to a million-selling hit with “I Sold My Heart To The Junkman.” Since then, the Philadelphia native has been a chart staple through multiple hits with the trio LaBelle, including their 1975 smash “Lady Marmalade,” and later as a stunning solo artist with over thirty charted singles. Her church-trained, high-octave belting voice powered such hits as 1983’s “If You Only Knew,” the 1985 smash “New Attitude,” and the #1 single “On My Own,” a duet with Michael McDonald. More recent hits include “Somebody Loves You Baby,” “When You’ve Been Blessed, “ The Right Kind Of Lover,” and “When You Talk About Love.” The Grammy Hall of Fame inductee has also earned Grammys for her albums Burnin’ and Live! One Night Only.

Her biography, Don’t Block the Blessings, remained at the top of The New York Times best-seller list for several weeks. She has sold over 50 million copies worldwide.
