Honor Society: Fashionably Late Tour to Support the Release of Their Debut Album

HONOR SOCIETY’S DEBUT ALBUM, FASHIONABLY LATE, AVAILABLE SEPTEMBER 15

NEW YORK, Sept. 1– One of this year’s breakout bands, Honor Society (www.myspace.com/honorsociety), announced today dates and cities for “The Fashionably Late Tour.” This will be the band’s second headlining tour after this summer’s Full Moon Crazy Tour and will support the September 15 release of their debut album, Fashionably Late. The tour is presented by USA Pears and kicks off in Minneapolis on September 21 at the Varsity Theater. Tickets are on sale now.

Honor Society has become one of this summer’s hottest new acts as they toured with the Jonas Brothers and Jordin Sparks and brought their high energy live performances to new fans around the country. In addition to playing to packed arenas, Honor Society kept the party going as they headlined the Full Moon Crazy Tour that would sell out venues like the Blender Theater in New York City. In addition to the two tours, Honor Society maintained a hectic schedule as they promoted the single, “Where Are You Now,” met with fans at Verizon stores and held impromptu performances that would drew up to 1,000 fans.

The band’s first single, “Over You,” is currently hitting the radio airwaves and premiered this weekend on national television as they performed at the US Open’s Arthur Ashe Kids Day in New York City. “Over You” is currently on rotation on XM Satellite Radio’s Kiss FM Channel and was recently featured on People.com.

The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 Receives Rave Reviews

four horns and two strings ADDED for “fuller, richer and complex” new sound

Tickets Still AVAILABLE for AUGUST 11th SHOW AT JOBING.COM ARENA

(Phoenix, AZ) – The Grammy nominated, and platinum-selling recording artists, Jonas Brothers launched “The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009” in Dallas on Saturday to a crowd of about 50,000. “The Jonas Brothers offered up roughly 100 minutes of songs from three albums, including the just-released Lines, Vines and Trying Times,” the Dallas Morning News reports, “The stage, three octagons stationed smack in the middle of the stadium floor, provided plenty of room for spectacle, from a cool feature that showered ribbons of water shaped as hearts, letters and strings to a crane that extended Kevin and Joe over the audience.”

“The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009” is the band’s most ambitious production yet. The massive 140-foot plus stage centered in the arena is “an in-the-round design that creates a plethora of floor seats that are front row (and susceptible to water deluges). The two satellite stages connected by catwalks mean that the band has even more ability to get close to fans in the,” the Ft. Worth Star Telegram adds, “They’ve added horns (four) and strings (two), and their new sound is fuller, richer and complex.”

The tour stops in Glendale for a performance at Jobing.com Arena on Tuesday, August 11. Special guests American Idol winner, 19 Entertainment/Jive Records’ platinum-selling artist and Glendale Favorite, Jordin Sparks, and rising stars, Honor Society will open the 7:30pm show.
