No! I’m Tom DeLonge Video Contest!

 September 18, 2009 – Following the extremely successful launch of his most recent MacBeth shoe design, “The Brighton,” Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge has once again ignited a fan frenzy during this year’s Blink-182 Reunion tour. The masks were originally only intended to promote the new Brighton shoe but word quickly spread through the Blink-182 and MacBeth fan communities as the hot ticket item at the show.  Within the first few dates, the demand for the “Tom” masks overshadowed the original allotment and now thousands of fans have been descending upon the shows in hopes of getting their hands on the coveted “Tom” mask. 

Due to the high demand, fans can now log on to www.macbeth.com/blink182 to download their own “Tom” mask. The mask craze has also inspired MacBeth to sponsor the “No, I’m Tom DeLonge” video contest. To enter the contest, fans are being encouraged to recreate a scene from their favorite Blink-182 video wearing the mask.  The top 5 videos will each win a pair of MacBeth “Brighton” shoes and the winning videos will be hosted on www.macbeth.com. Tom DeLonge himself will pick his favorite video as the supreme champion of the contest. The grand prize winner will receive a trip to New York City to see Blink-182 perform at Madison Square Garden on October 4^th in true VIP style and will also have a chance to do a “Brighton Backstage” photo shoot modeling their new Brighton shoes with Tom DeLonge backstage.  The deadline to enter a video submission is Friday, September 25^th.
